WIM is the acronym for What Is Music, an international meeting of music and arts held in the medieval city of Frías, Burgos-Spain, during 10 summer days. After the success of past years, the third edition will take place from 22 to 31 July.

More than 250 musicians, actors and dancers from all over Europe performing live for 10 days within many courses and workshops in different musical or theatrical genres, playing in jam sessions and enjoying concerts during every night.

Burgos Association Free Culture Movement organizes this meeting, which has as its basic pillars the quality cultural development, social inclusion, collective learning and multiculturalism.


WIM is a commitment to groups at risk of social exclusion can be part of this community cultural development, thus promoting tolerance and diversity among the attendees.


We believe in an education based on collective learning, exchange of ideas, creativity and horizontality


WIM promotes social cohesion and proposes music as a link between cultures by raising awareness of the assistants to other realities.
